If you missed it, Jason Arday was a darling of the woke Left who was celebrated as the youngest black man to ever be hired at Cambridge.
In recent weeks, however, the sociologist's academic work and resumé came into sharp scrutiny.
Arday was accused of:
Stealing significant portions of his 2015 PhD thesis from Paula Zwozdiak-Myers's 2009 thesis (more than 100 passages).
Multiple cases of verbatim copying or light paraphrasing in published papers that caused academic journals to issue corrections and updates.
Claiming to have raised millions of British pounds for charity.
Falsely claiming to have worked at the University of Glasgow and THE Ohio State University.
Claiming to have run 600 miles in six days.
Falsely claiming he had published a book called "Being Young, Black and Male: Challenging the Dominant Discourse."
Using a Brooklyn ghostwriter for his memoir, which was published in August.
Using AI to write his resignation letter after Cambridge announced an investigation.
Earlier, Cambridge had dismissed concerns about Arday's work. He was the youngest black man to work at Cambridge, after all!
The media quickly helped the woke educators circle the wagons. The police then harassed any journalists who still had the integrity to ask questions of a professor at one of the world's most prestigious universities.
It seems the police were right about the man's mental health.

Embattled Cambridge University professor Jason Arday was found dead Friday after quitting his job at the school over allegations that he plagiarized and lied on his résumé, according to a report Friday.
Arday, 41 — the youngest-ever Black professor at the lauded university — was found 'unresponsive' in south London and later pronounced dead at the scene, according to the UK Telegraph.
Police say his death is not believed to be suspicious.
Arday had become a media darling, living proof that DEI initiatives were delivering.
After his death, the Muslim mayor of London found it important to shame those who wanted to hold a Cambridge professor accountable for plagiarism:

Also pray for British leaders' obsession with left-wing ideology that promotes people into positions of power based on their genitals and the color of their skin, then uses them as pawns in their propaganda war for whatever ends they deem necessary.
