Boelter pleaded guilty last month to all six federal charges against him: two stalking counts, two murder counts and two federal firearm-shooting offenses.
Federal prosecutors said they told Boelter they would take the death penalty off the table if he pleaded guilty and served two consecutive life sentences plus 40 years.
It's impossible to actually serve two consecutive life sentences.
It just means heβs going to get three hot meals a day for the rest of his life.
What ABC excluded from their most recent report was that there were officers on scene who could have saved the Hortmans.
Instead, they retreated while he went into the home. π
