Well...

Fujairah is the only UAE refinery that bypasses the Strait of Hormuz, the waterway between the Arabian Gulf and Iran that is currently locked down by Iranian mines/rockets and the U.S. Navy.

The region produces a third of the world's oil, and a crucial percentage (hundreds of millions of barrels daily) are bypassing the strait by using the Fujairah refinery.

Or ... they were (no word yet on how this has affected capacity).

A large fire has broken out at the key oil port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) after it was hit by a drone attack from Iran, local officials say.

Three Indian nationals were injured in the strike, officials said.

At this point, I'm starting to wonder if you couldn't fire missiles randomly at any point on earth and hit Indians 😭

Hours before the refinery explosion, the UAE said it shot down three Iranian drones/missiles with its air defense systems, while a fourth splashed down in the sea. That number quickly got updated after the second wave of kinetic threats:

(227 people in the UAE have been injured by Iranian missiles and drones since the start of the conflict, according to Emrati officials.)

According to the BBC, Iran says this is all fake news.

Iran called the claims 'entirely false' and its military said it fired warning shots at a US warship.

Yeah, okay then. I don't think The Donald bought that excuse.
