Well, let's check in on "Progressive" Christianity™ and what exactly we're progressing towards, shall we?
I'm not just calling this lady a "fat pastor" because I'm being mean.
She literally calls herself that. And she's proud of it.
I am fat. I use the 'F' word to describe myself because I just am.
Pride month is apparently for the obese too. I guess that's what the plus sign is for.
Now it's time for fat people of faith and our allies to do the same soul work [as LGBT 'Christians'] so we can realize that no matter what shape our body is in, we can understand that we are good and whole and entitled to the same dignity and space as everyone else.
Believe me, you're already taking up WAY more space than you're entitled to, ma'am.
Honestly, in a society that is the most obese and unhealthy in human history, it seems like we have too much fat acceptance, not too little. But maybe that's just me.
We don't realize that saying, 'You look so good' to someone who's lost weight is causing harm.

It's one thing to hear this nonsense from critical theorists in the halls of the academy, but to hear it from a pulpit in a church is something else.
Here's a little more:
Being fat isn't unhealthy because "the new research" is telling us that it's totally cool to be a giant whale.
(And we think scientists don't hate us.)
What passes for "Christianity" in 2026 is such a joke.
