Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, who exited then reentered the race, is the only real contender against Hong in the August 11 primary (two former lieutenant governors dropped out amid targeted scandals), but Hong currently has 42% of the vote and Crowley has only 12%.
If I were Republican candidate Tom Tiffany, I might prefer to go up against Hong so the entire country can see just how crazy the Dems have gotten.
