Another day, another crooked cop using Flock to stalk people.
This story is out of Florida, where Apple TV filmed part of a Vince Vaughn show, Bad Monkey. And it almost reads like a brand-new Apple TV show about a Florida deputy obsessed with an actress who is filming a show in the Keys — the same show this deputy has been placed on security duty for.
The worst part? The court is going to drop the charges on this bozo.

Lamar Roman was working as security on the set of Bad Monkey when he met this lady, tracked her through Flock cameras, pinged her license plate, and then pursued her in his police cruiser at high speed to pull her over, nearly causing an accident.
Don't worry, he's been fired and he's taking a class.
So nothing will be on his record about spying on an actress and using his position as a cop — and Flock cameras, of course — to stalk her.

A former Florida Keys sheriff's deputy accused of misusing law enforcement resources to track a woman he met on the set of a television show will have computer crimes charges dropped if he successfully completes a pre-trial intervention program as part of a deal with prosecutors, according to Monroe County court documents ...
According to MCSO, after he got caught, Roman fessed up, saying, "I saw a shiny thing."
As part of his deal, Roman will have to stay out of trouble for two years and have no contact with the woman.
He'll pay about $1,700 to cover investigative and prosecutorial costs and will have to perform 100 hours of community service and continue psychotherapy.
Talk about a slap on the wrist!
He broke so many rules. He used police databases, Flock cameras, and his squad car to commit his perverted crime, and he's getting off with no criminal record.
Just some therapy and a class...
And possibly a brand-new Apple TV show.
