Some brief details:
As you may have suspected, this fine addition to the multicultural tapestry of modern Britain was in the country illegally and no one had arrested him for it.
In the wee morning hours of July 23, 2025, the victim was "heavily intoxicated" and sitting on a park bench beside St. John's Church in Harrow, North London.
A jury found Bruke Desalagne guilty after watching CCTV footage of him moving the elderly man from the bench onto a grassy area, where he then raped the man.
(I doubt the original builders of the church in 1866 ever considered our current state of affairs as a possibility.)

Throughout the trial, Desalagne remained emotionless, and sipped water while the footage was played. When the guilty verdict was handed down, he still showed no emotion.
Desalagne required a translator for his trial in England, because of course.
He is scheduled to be sentenced sometime in the fall.
We'll see if he gets more jail time than an Englishman who made a mean tweet.
