No fire department on scene yet? Well, there's no time to wait if you're this Chattanooga cop.
The officer didn't hesitate for even a moment to put his life on the line in one of the most dire of situations.

Police say the call happened May 1st just before 10 p.m. on Cranberry Way in Hixson.
Neighbors told the officer people were still inside. That is when he went in.
According to Chattanooga Police, Officer Rogers rescued Rachel Blaylock's 4-year-old daughter Marlowe from the burning apartment as Blaylock followed with 10-year-old Charles.
