Wedding party beware: never lock your knees!

Best man Drayton Williams learned that lesson the hard way last month when he unintentionally stole the show at his best friend's wedding when he passed out during the ceremony.

Amazingly, the officiant hardly misses a beat when the best man faints with a loud thud onto the platform. Like a pro, the pastor glances over and, within a millisecond, determines that this isn't an emergency, and the best thing to do is just pretend that nothing happened.

I halfway expected the officiant to crack a joke at the best man's expense, but he didn't. That was definitely a missed opportunity, but it was the more respectable option, so I can't fault him for not having my sense of humor.

Williams was fine and did go on to give his best man speech at the reception.

And in the end, the wedding seemed to go off without a hitch...just a little glitch that the bride and groom will probably be laughing about for the next 50 years!
