Remember this female high school wrestler who said she was groped by a dude who was wrestling in the girls' division in Washington?
She says the boy, who is allowed to compete with the girls because he says he is a girl, purposely groped her privates:
[Warning: Arguable sexual assault]
Well, you'll be extremely surprised to find out Pierce County (in Washington, of course) is not going to charge the boy.
This happened in December 2025, and Kallie Keeler's family has now been forced to file a federal lawsuit.
Why?
Well, the Pierce County Sheriff's Office investigated this alleged rape, forwarded a rape allegation to prosecutors, and then ... crickets.
This was the response in Pierce County, as they refused to file charges:
I am aware that the suspect is apparently a transgender individual, but that has no bearing on my charging decision; the WPIC is clear that the issue is whether penetration occurred, regardless of 'whether such persons are of the same or opposite sex.' WPIC 45.01.
We will not be charging this case because we cannot prove Rape 3 at trial. This does not mean that I approve of this conduct, or that I have no sympathy for the victim. I reviewed all of the documentation provided, the interviews, the victim's statement, and the videos of the event. It is apparent this had a profound impact on the victim and I believe she will be disappointed by this decision, but we cannot charge a criminal case we cannot prove.
So dumb.

From the sheriff:
Yeah, uhh, the family wasn't content to let that slide.
They've now filed a federal lawsuit against the Puyallup School District, the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA), state education officials, and others.
They're seeking damages and policy changes on transgender participation in girls' sports, actual reporting of assaults, and, you know, telling parents when their daughter is about to step on the mat against a boy.
The U.S. Department of Education is already investigating the district for potential Title IX violations.
Pierce County, everyone!
