Tren de Aragua sent thousands of gang members to flood the United States under Joe Biden.
They took over apartment buildings, operated elaborate theft rings, and carried out kidnapping and trafficking schemes across America.
Trump made a statement about the strike on Niño Guerrero, whose legal name is Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores:
Trump also made reference to Americans murdered by Tren de Aragua, including Laken Riley.
Riley's killer was José Antonio Ibarra, an illegal alien who tried to rape her as she was jogging at the University of Georgia in 2024.
Ibarra strangled Riley and struck her with a rock.
He is a member of the gang.
After taking office, Trump designated Tren de Aragua a terrorist organization.
Now its leader is dead.
The strike happened earlier this week but has just been confirmed and declassified:
Venezuela wouldn't be helping us unless we had taken out Nicolas Maduro earlier this year.
The country is no longer a safe haven for terrorists and cartels.
Tren de Aragua has been labeled by the United States as a terrorist organization. Guerrero Flores was charged in a New York federal court with racketeering conspiracy and other crimes, including lending support to terrorists in crimes that stretched more than a decade, authorities announced in December.
I think Trump just fast-tracked his trial.
