In 2020, this man was arrested for shooting at cops. He was only sentenced to five years in jail.

According to police, that man is Tyler Brown, a convicted felon. From NBC 10 Boston:

Investigators identified Tyler Brown of Boston as the man who allegedly opened fire on Memorial Drive in Cambridge, Massachusetts, leaving two victims with life-threatening injuries. Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan said Brown fired 50 to 60 shots on the busy road shortly after 1 p.m. Monday. Two male victims were hit in vehicles, Ryan said. They are in critical condition and fighting for their lives.

Thank the Lord that most criminals/terrorists/leftists are horrible shots.

Thankfully, there were two good guys with guns to stop him, including a civilian (it is very hard to get a concealed carry license in the woke state of Massachusetts).

A Massachusetts State Police trooper and a civilian with a license to carry a firearm went toward the gunman and fired their weapons at him. Officers treated Brown at the scene, and he was brought to a Boston hospital, where he is in intensive care, according to the district attorney.

Brown has a two-decade record of crime. In 2020, prosecutors wanted to send him to jail for a minimum of 10 years after he fired 13 bullets at Boston police officers. A Massachusetts Superior judge named Janet L. Sanders cut that sentence in half, which allowed Brown to be on the streets in Cambridge yesterday.

Judge Sanders served as a Superior Court judge from 2001 until her retirement in 2023, being appointed by former Gov. Jane Swift. How many other sweetheart deals has she has given to criminals in that time?

More from the Suffolk County DA on Brown's attempt to kill officers in 2020:

ADA Kettlewell told the court that, on May 16, 2020, Boston Police responded to a report of a man with a gun in the area of Northhampton Street. Officers working a detail nearby were the first to respond and located Mr. Brown on Massachusetts Avenue. He matched the description provided by witnesses and appeared emotionally disturbed. When officers attempted to speak with him, he tossed a bag he was carrying at one officer and fled. The officers pursued him on foot and were joined by two additional responding officers. Upon reaching Chester Park, Mr. Brown, who is not licensed to carry a firearm, turned and fired a .40 Glock semi-automatic at close range at one officer's chest. Luckily, the officer was able to dive for cover and was narrowly missed by the bullets.

Reminder: If men like Brown were automatically put in prison for life after their third violent crime, almost all violent crime would drop to near zero. Many states implemented "three-strike" rules in the '80s and '90s that were dropped in recent years in the name of "anti-racism," "equity," and cutting prison costs.

A Swedish study in 2013 that found that 1% of the general population commits well over 63% of all violent crime. While this doesn't map perfectly onto the United States, consider that half of all murders happen within 2% of U.S. counties, and most of those murders happen within small areas in said counties.

In essence, things like this vanish if you lock up a handful of people who live in specific areas 👇

Mr. Brown continued to shoot at the officers, firing a total of 13 rounds. Two officers returned fire. Combined, they only discharged five rounds in response to Mr. Brown's barrage of gunfire. Miraculously, no officers or civilians were shot during the exchange.

At the time, Brown was out on parole for a 2014 conviction for assault and battery with a knife and witness intimidation. After Judge Sanders reduced Brown's sentence, DA Rachael Rollins said she was "disappointed." It seems Brown managed to get his hands on a short-barreled AR-variant rifle (or possibly a pistol carbine) soon after leaving prison, despite such rifles being heavily regulated in Massachusetts.

You never know when the "compassion" of Affluent White Female Liberal (AWFL) judges will strike in the form of a deranged lunatic shooting at your family.

People are fond of saying "the government is going to save you," but in these cases, the government is actually helping to kill you.

Prepare accordingly.
