Last week, my son at Campbell got the sex-ed talk in health class and was told, 'Children can only come from men and women.] No queer representation, no IVF representation. He came home crying.

How did the edgy gay crowd get to be such dorks?

Seriously, 30 years ago, the "Bible thumpers" were the ones upset at sex-ed in public schools for promoting promiscuity.

Now it's the non-binary moms whose genderfluid kids can't handle the biological reality of how babies are made. 🤡

Any 2-year-old could tell you that babies come from mommies and daddies. Outside of plants and animals that reproduce via budding or cell division (like bacteria), all living organisms require male (XY) and female (XX) gametes to reproduce. Sexual dichotomy preserves genetic diversity. There is a reason it is designed this way.

• Two lesbians still need male gametes to fertilize their eggs.

• Two men still to hire a surrogate womb and egg to be fertilized.

• Technology does not change this. IVF does nothing differently except add new potential for manmade horrors where we create human beings in test tubes, then discard the ones that are unwanted.

• A woman who injects herself with testosterone and removes her breasts to look like a man will still have every single cell in her body (roughly 7 trillion) coded XX to indicate that she is a female. A man who lops off his genitals to look more like a woman is a eunuch and can't have kids.

Those born with genetic defects (intersex) can be classified as male or female with an extra chromosome (Klinefelter Syndrome, Trisomy X Syndrome) or female with a missing chromosome (Turner Syndrome). Other genetic defects, such as 5-Alpha-Reductase Deficiency in males, affect the overall development of the genitals but do not change the fact that they are indeed male.

The vast majority of those with these conditions are infertile. The reason for this, of course, is that you need healthy male and female gametes in order to create a child.

Because a child can only come from the combination of one man and one woman.
