I know you'll be shocked to hear it, but California is running another scam.
"Pro-family" governor Gavin Newsom, you know, the guy who wants ladies in other states to travel to his for abortions, is being such a good guy by paying for diapers for new moms.
Totally altruistic use of tax dollars by California with nothing sinister or cynical going on here, right?

They could just give $100 diaper vouchers that you can use at Walmart. But no.
That would never do.

Newsom is using California tax dollars to pay millions of dollars for hundreds of thousands dollars worth of diapers, purchased from one of his good buddies and donors. All while touting his "pro-family" bonafides.
