That's certainly one way to go.

[Warning: This thermal video doesn't show gore, but it still shows the moment a man died]

That was a Frontier Airlines jet on a Denver runway last week. I won't show you the picture of the bloody jet engine after the man was hit and sucked in (you are welcome).

According to Denver officials, the man was a serial offender who was looking to end it all.

More on the bizarre incident from ABC 7 in Denver:

The man was identified as 41-year-old Michael Mott, of Pueblo, Denver's chief medical examiner, Dr. Sterling McLaren announced at a briefing on Tuesday. The cause of death was multiple sharp and blunt force injuries from the plane's engine, she said.

It's unclear what, if any, connection Mott had with the airport or what evidence Dr. McLaren examined to determine the manner of death.

One might venture a guess that the video footage of the guy walking out onto the runway and standing in front of an airliner barreling toward him would be a decent clue, but then again, I'm no expert. There's also the fact that Mott had to climb an 8-foot fence with barbed wire to get onto that runway.

Denver Chief of Police Ron Thomas said that the man had had previous contact with law enforcement in the metro area. Records show a lengthy criminal history in Colorado dating back to 2003, with convictions ranging from trespassing to assault. He was sentenced to six years in the Department of Corrections for felony assault in 2005.

Here's the page of his charges in Cortez, Colorado, for the attempted murder of a family member in February 2025:

In prison, Mott was hit with additional assault charges. He served less than 5 years behind bars (again, for attempted murder). In April 2010, he was arrested on new domestic violence charges. In 2016, he was charged with second-degree burglary. In 2017, he tried to escape prison. He was arrested multiple times for DUIs, a hit-and-run, trespassing, and public fighting. In 2020, he was charged with a felony assault on a cop. For some reason, the Montezuma County District Attorney's Office dropped all of those charges.

According to the New York Post, just one month before he walked in front of the Airbus A-321neo, he was arrested in Colorado Springs for trespassing and damaging private property.

("Previous contact with law enforcement," indeed.)

It begs the question of how this guy was out there roaming the streets, free to throw himself into a jet turbine and endanger innocent passengers.

Oh, wait, that's right.

Leftist judges.
