Remember how your buddy claimed woke was dead?
It's not dead.
The Maine State Breastfeeding Coalition posted that this August for National Breastfeeding Month, though they have since deactivated their Instagram page (any guesses why?).
National Breastfeeding Month is for every family.
We're proud to celebrate and uplift trans lactation, chestfeeding, and Two-Spirit families during National Breastfeeding Month.
Every family deserves affirming, respectful, and evidence-based care.
Creating inclusive spaces means recognizing that parents use different words to describe their feeding journeys, and honoring each person's identity and lived experience.
When healthcare, communities, and support systems are inclusive, families are better able to meet their feeding goals and feel empowered along the way.
Milk makes families, and every family belongs.
Women who take testosterone and other cross-sex drugs to unnaturally look like a man, or men who take estrogen long enough to begin secreting small amounts of fluid from their nipples, are celebrated by the wokies.
Never mind that they ignore any possibility that the dangerous, unnatural drug cocktails could transfer to the infant through said milk.
Instead, we are expected to celebrate the fat bearded lady, or the man on hormones, as if this is natural, beautiful, and good.
Two days ago on Facebook, the group posted this word salad, potentially as a response to public backlash:
I think it's bigoted that they called it "chestfeeding," but forgot to say "birthing person" or "human milk-feeding individual." For shame!
Ladies, if you care about your babies, make sure your local mom groups aren't brainwashed by the woke mind virus.
