More of that caption:

Under communism there is no free speech, and those who show the reality or speak up are imprisoned. Me going without a planned Cuban government guide nearly got me and my security taken hostage or imprisoned.

Bro touched down in Cuba, and he says he immediately had his gear confiscated at the airport. Then, intelligence agents tailed him and proceeded to camp out at his hotel.

Aaaand, it kinda sounds like he was surprised by this!

No offense, Nick!

Here's what he says happened after he left the airport in Havana.

We get out and we go start to make the video asking Cubans about life in communism ... We're showing people what life is like in Cuba right now ... Well, when we're doing one interview near a hospital where there's a huge line outside the hospital ... we see an undercover cop roll up on us ... And then all the sudden there's another one, so we hop back in another taxi, we left the scene, and we thought we were good. They didn't tail us, and we left.

Here's where it gets wild.

The word had gotten out that a journalist [Shirley himself] was inside of Cuba ... Right now, it is currently 9:30 and we have Cuban intelligence down in the lobby of the hotel right now working to essentially try to round us up and potentially imprison us or make it so we cannot leave Cuba. So right now we are coming up with a game plan to escape Cuba.

We all know how communism works - and how it actually just ends up being fascism where you can't do anything not approved by the government or you risk being imprisoned or killed.

Sounds like Nick was fortunate enough to escape Cuba, and I can't wait to see if he got any iPhone footage.
